Dermot McCaffery is a Member of the Institute of Highway Engineers and a Member of the Institute of Road Safety Officers. He has over 29 years experience in highway and transportation development control. From 1987 to 1996 Dermot was a senior engineer in the highway development control section of Berkshire County Council. With the demise of the County Council Dermot joined the highways department of the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead as the team leader for the development control section. In 1997 Dermot joined Buchanan Consulting Engineers in Notting Hill as an Associate. He left in 2002 to set up DFM Consulting Ltd. Dermot became a sole trader in 2009 and started Highway Planning Ltd in 2018. |
